Good morning ladies and gentlemen. How are you today? Remember that from now on, you should keep your works so you can send them to us through the new "Aula Vitual". We are so looking forward to seeing your productions, like the one you did about extensive and intensive farming.
When we go to the market or the supermarket, we can see hundreds of products from all over the world. Some food products cannot be grown locally, but many products can. It is very, VERY IMPORTANT to support local farmers and producers by choosing their products when possible.
You are going to carry out a product survey to find out where food products in your local market come from.
Instructions:
1. Visit (if you can), you local market or supermarket. Read the labels on the products, or ask the shop assistant to get information:
- Where does this (fish) come from?
- Where do these (olives) come from?
- Are these (tomatoes) from a local farm?
2. Prepare a table about 5 different food products you can find in the market. Use this example as a model:
3. Complete your table with the food products you have found.
IT´S POSIBLE THAT WILL BE THE LAST DAY ABOUT MATTER.
(RECUERDA PRIMERO CLICKAR EN GUÍA DE INICIO, Y SI QUIERES VER A PANTALLA EN GRANDE, ABAJO A LA DERECHA EN LOS 3 PUNTITOS)
Last Tuesday we were introducing the new vocabulary. Today we are going to continue practicing listening and writing. So, open your book on page 150. Listen, repeat and watch out for the missing word. Then, write the words following the instructions.
🔈
Here you have the audio again, just in case you weren´t able to hear it.
Take a minute to memorize the words from the box, go to the homeschooling page and complete the first activity. When you finish correct yourself with a green crayon checking the words on page 150.
To finish, you can play with your family to spell the words, like in class. Do you remember it?
Example:
You: How do you spell trip?Mom/Dad/Sister/Brother: Dance, T-R-I-P.
Mom/Dad/Sister/Brother: How do you spell museum?
You: Jump, M-U-S-E-U-M.
You: How do you spell go?
Mom/Dad/Sister/Brother: Team, G-O.
Mom/Dad/Sister/Brother: How do you spell dinosaur?
You: Baseball, D-I-N-O-S-A-U-R.
You: How do you spell rules?
Mom/Dad/Sister/Brother: music, R-U-L-E-S.
